Pyongyang University of Agriculture has set significant research projects conducive to firmly guaranteeing the sustained development of agriculture and attaining the grain production goal for this year and pushes ahead with the work to apply them to reality.
Teachers and researchers of the university are working hard to perfect the technology for reaping a big harvest of wheat.
They are also arranging a workshop and a demonstration to introduce nutritional management methods based on the present growth of the wheat planted last autumn.

Wonsan University of Agriculture is pushing ahead with the research into breeding new strains of crops appropriate for the central eastern coastal area and breeding and introducing strains of high productivity despite unfavorable conditions.
Meanwhile, the scientists of the North Hwanghae Provincial Institute of Agricultural Science held technical courses and demonstrations at farms and took farsighted measures to provide a practical guarantee for high yields.
