Pyongyang College of Economy and Technology stimulates the interest in the study of foreign languages among students.

A non-permanent examination committee composed of officials of the college including its master reviews the study of foreign languages every week.

In June, they organized the talking contests of the first and second grades students and let the students who mastered several languages translate foreign sci-tech books conducive to the study of their specialties.

In addition, they organize different contests frequently, thus encouraging the students’ enthusiasm for the study of foreign languages and zeal for emulation among all classes.
