The participants in the 5th National Meeting of Mothers arrived in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
Among them is Kim Pok Suk, living in the Neighborhood Unit 93, Wasan-dong, Sosong District.
She is called a "wife of hero", "mother of hero"; her husband is a Hero of the Republic and her eldest son is a Labor Hero.
Caring for her husband and children, she, a meritorious worker, has long worked in an occupation without a day’s absence.
She devoted her sincerity to caring for her husband and bringing up her children into genuine persons who love the country.
Being educated by their mother who strives to contribute to the country, they stood at the post for defending the country and volunteered to work at major construction sites responding to the Party’s call.
She was very glad when her eldest son Hong Kwang Il won
So the Party highly praised Kim Pok Suk for her devotion to society and collective and bringing up the children into genuine persons with her examples and warm affection.
