Land and Manure

It was one November day in Juche 102(2013) when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Pyongyang University of Architecture.

After looking round various places of the university, the respected General Secretary said that it was important to provide well the educational conditions in order to train many frontline soldiers for building a civilized socialist country, adding that the education may be land and its conditions be manure in training the talents.

And then he expressed his will to become manure in architectural talents training.

At the moment, officials could hardly repress their emotion.

Land and manure, herein lies the firm will of the peerlessly great man to devote all to the education while regarding it as the most important work.

But they did not know everything until then about the deep intention of the respected General Secretary who was concerned for providing the students with better educational conditions.

Stressing that in general, the conception and thinking are bound to be governed by circumstances, he instructed the officials to build Pyongyang University of Architecture well as wonderful as ones in other countries.

Through his precious instructions, the officials deeply felt again how big the trust and expectation in Pyongyang University of Architecture are and came to know well about the meaning of genuine love on the rising generation.

Earnest Request

It was none other than Wisong Primary School the respected General Secretary visited before others looking round the completed Wisong Scientists Residential District.

All the time, he wore a broad smile on his face as if he pictured our pupils’ recitation of learning and happy laughter which would resound in the residential district.

It happened when he dropped in at a classroom.

Looking around the interior of the classroom and desks and chairs, he said that the desks were small, asking how old the pupils who would use them are.

Being informed about the fact from an official that 7-or 8-year-old pupils would study there, the respected General Secretary pointed out the shortcomings one by one while carefully examining the surface of the desk.

The respected General Secretary who has always been concerned for giving better things to pupils lest they should feel inconvenience instructed the officials to ensure well the temperature of the classroom and to lay out artificial grass on the playground.

His earnest request made that day tells that to improve the educational conditions and environments is not a practical work but the viewpoint on the education and, further, noble patriotic ones for the future of the country.
