Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK has changed its appearance splendidly day by day with the mighty spirit of our motherland where the new history of gigantic change has been ushered in.

The proud changes which make the breathing of the great era of our state-first principle leaping forward with youthful vibrance continuously pulsate and give firm conviction of brilliant future are the vivid picture of a new age of Pyongyang prosperity brought by the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who translates the people’s dreams and ideals into reality.

It is the remarkable exploits performed by the respected General Secretary before the country, revolution, history and people to set models of the times in the people-first architecture and add luster to the capital city more brilliantly with the monumental edifices in keeping with the appearance of the great power.

Once the respected General Secretary clarified his grand plan for ushering in a new era of high civilization in the 21st century and stressed as follows:

We should firmly maintain the Juche character and properly combine the national character with modernity by embodying the people-first principle in the construction and perfectly build world-level monumental edifices at an exceptionally rapid speed – this is the fundamental principle and main core of the idea of the Juche-oriented architecture to be held fast to by us in the construction.
