With the approach of July 8, the day of demise of President Kim Il Sung, our people are recollecting with deep emotion his immortal revolutionary career and full of profound yearning for him.

The President ceaselessly walked along the farm roads of the country for solving the food problem of the people and farming problem until the last period of his life.

In those days of his leadership were such touching stories as giving field guidance at the Onchon Plain on the west coastal areas more than one hundred and ten times and as carrying a torch in his hand in the sleety midnight to choose the site of a reservoir for solving the water problem of a farm on the outskirts of Pyongyang Municipality.

In June of Juche 83(1994), the last period of his great life, he visited an experimental vegetable field at a farm in Taesong District, Pyongyang and gave detailed instructions ranging from the issue arising in the vegetable production to the ways for increasing the fruit production for a long time.

Therefore the socialist farmlands are conveying the great efforts and feats of the President who was always with the farmers despite the rainy and snowy days, listened to their farming experience valuably and personally created the Juche farming method.

Indeed, the farm roads walked by the President in his lifetime were one of love for the people’s well-being and one of devotion for the prosperity of the country.

Now the agricultural workers across the country are filled with ardent zeal to bring about rich harvest year by year in the socialist farmland the President loved through his life under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
