Once, the unit received an urgent task for discharging. The work condition was unexpectedly bad. The problem was that the unit had no necessary tools. Some employees lost strength thinking that they could not ensure discharging time.

At that time, Head of the unit Ri Yong Ju learnt in detail about the situation and strived to solve the technical problem necessary for manufacturing suitable tools.

His idea was supported by the employees and the knotty problem was perfectly solved by the port’s organization. So, the discharge work was concluded ahead of schedule.

Like this, officials take the lead in performing technical innovations and all the employees follow them to improve their abilities and become masters of science and technology.

Now the unit is putting spurs to solving scientific and technical problems in the work for recovering the efficiency of the crane.

Putting Efforts into Ensuring Good Conditions

The Kaechon Power Distribution Station puts efforts into ensuring good conditions so that its employees can buckle down to the work of science and technology with vital interests.

For example, last year the station arranged an electricity equipment test room and face-lifted the appearance of the engineering work-team.

Under the guidance of the Party organization, Head of the station Ri Chang Gyong and other officials dedicated their all efforts to pushing ahead with the projects according to schedule and ensuring conditions for self-repairing of electrical equipment.

Consequently, an electricity equipment test room appeared and the engineering work-team became able to repair large capacity transformers.
