An opera "Eternal Victors" opened at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on Thursday on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Working people, school youth and children and service personnel in the city saw the performance.

The opera vividly and artistically represents the indomitable struggle of the coastal artillerymen of the Korean People’s Army who heroically fought with only four guns against the 50 000-strong U.S. imperialist troops to defend Wolmi Islet during the great Fatherland Liberation War. It gives a philosophical and weighty explanation of the mass heroism and the matchless self-sacrificing spirit displayed by the defenders of the country in the 1950s.

Watching the opera, which ideologically and artistically depicts the immutable truth that the embrace of the President precisely means the embrace of the country, the audience was convinced once again that eternal prosperity is in store for their dignified state when they faithfully uphold the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
