Unique Military Tactics Recorded in History of War Victory

Politics 2024.7.25.

Our victory and miracles the DPRK achieved in the Fatherland Liberation War were fruition of the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung, who sagaciously led the Korean People’s Army (KPA) and people with the Juche-based military idea, our own style of tactics and strategies.

During the days of the war, the President consistently maintained that the Korean people should fight in a Korean style suited to the terrain condition of our country.

On the basis of this, he created the unique Juche-oriented war tactics to overpower the numerical and technical superiority of the US imperialists with tactical superiority.

The movement of aircraft-hunting teams unprecedented in the world history of war was one of the Juche-oriented war tactics created by the President.

The President tested the tactics of hunting the enemy planes with small arms and issued an order to widely organize the aircraft-hunting teams in KPA units and launch the movement of shooting down the enemy planes on a mass scale.

And he indicated the detailed issues arising in performing the tactics.

As the President indicated, the People’s Army soldiers shot down one after another the US imperialist air pirates who boasted of their "air supremacy" through brisk movement of aircraft-hunting teams.

As a result, they shot down over 1 200 enemy planes in 1952 alone and an ordinary People’s Army soldier shot down five enemy planes with a rifle and was awarded the title of Hero of the DPRK.

The movement of aircraft-hunting teams and other Juche-oriented war tactics including a tank hunters’ team movement, night warfare, tunnel tactics, an active position warfare operation were all our unique style of military tactics unprecedented in the world history of war.

Indeed, the Juche-oriented war tactics created by the President led the war to the great victory by humbling the arrogant US imperialists who boasted of being "the strongest" in the world.
