The injection-molded boot workshop of the Hamhung Disabled Soldiers’ Essentail Plastic Goods Factory has been known as a collective of innovators.They always take the first place in the socialist emulation at the factory.

Here is a story showing their secret of success.

Some days ago Jang Pyong Ho, head of 1st workteam of the boot workshop, was informed about the fact that the 2nd workteam was suffering from lack of manpower.

He thought that when his workteam organizes the work in a more rational scrupulous way, they can easily help them. And he discussed this with his workteam members.

Sometime later head of the 2nd workteam Kim Kwang Il witnessed the 1st workteam members helping the 2nd workteam. Their cooperative efforts led to over-fulfillment of the daily production plan.

On the way back home the 2nd workteam members expressed their sorry feelings, worrying that the 1st workteam would not take the first place in the socialist emulation. Then Jang Pyong Ho said that it would be glad when all the workteams take the first place, adding that they will easily make a concession for their workshop’s winning of the first place.

Thanks to the workteam members who help and lead each other forward, the workshop took the first place again in the socialist emulation of the factory.

Indeed, the collectivist spirit is precisely their secret of taking the first place.

 

Regarding Other’s Pain as Their Own

 

Days ago, we were told about a touching story from Ra Jong Suk living in people’s neighborhood unit No. 98 of Jangsan-dong in Sosong District.

It runs as follows:

"Once, my son-in-law was carried to a hospital due to an unexpected happening. Medical workers devoted their utmost sincerity to the patient but he had not been restored to his sense for a long time. At that time, the head of my neighborhood unit and neighbors came to the hospital."

Ra Jong Suk was moved to tears by their sincerity of showing attentive kindred feelings.

Since then, they had often visited the hospital to see the patient and the sincerity of all the members of the neighborhood unit devoted to her son-in-law astonished other inpatients and the medical workers in the hospital.

They unanimously said that they have experienced such good deeds frequently reported through TV and newspaper, adding that they understood the true meanings of words that the whole country is a great family.

Thanks to the sincerity of grateful persons, Ra’s son-in-law could walk on his legs.

Ra burst out her excitement saying that she keenly felt again that there is no other’s pain in our socialist country.

 

Displaying Spirit of Collectivism

 

Ri Hyon U is respected by the farmers at the Phungsam Farm, Hoeryong City.

He has worked in a responsible manner as a tractor driver whether he is recognized or not.

When the work-team is faced with difficult tasks, he works heart and soul voluntarily taking responsibility of the tasks.

He also devotes himself to comrades while regarding their matters as his own and always thinks of collective before himself.

The following happened at the work-team No.2 not long ago.

One early morning a tractor unexpectedly stopped because it went wrong.

Though it was not his task, Ri was engrossed in repairing the tractor together with the owner.

And Ri handed over the accessories which he kept for emergency use to the owner.

The owner felt sorry for his failing to maintain and repair well his tractor.

Thanks to Ri’s help, the tractor was repaired and now he further displays the noble spirit of collectivism while helping and leading each other forward.
