One April day several years ago the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited a department store ready to open.

Receiving his undeserved appreciation, the officials were perplexed, as ware display, design of the store and arrangement of all equipment had been done as he instructed.

Afterwards, in front of the bread counter, he praised that the bread and beer display stands were good to see and effective to use; at the sundry goods display stand, instructed that the stand exhibited many commodities essentially necessary for people’s living, goods should be displayed not in piling method but in hanging method so that guests can find what they want.

That day the respected General Secretary repeatedly praised that the department store displayed the commodities well and instructed that the officials in the relevant fields should copy the display counters to build the public catering outlets. And he stressed that those display stands to be installed at the commercial service field should be made in our style and quality daily necessities and consumer goods should be produced enough to meet the desire and requirements of our people growing day after day and provide living convenience to people.

Looking up at the respected General Secretary who highly valued even ware display and taught the ways and methods to further improve it as required by the developing era and growing aspiration of people, the officials could hardly repress their surging emotion.

Today, too, officials and saleswomen of the department store recollect the unforgettable day with deep emotion and make firm pledge to thoroughly apply the noble outlook of the respected General Secretary on people into commercial service activities.
