DPRK Team Proves Successful at 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

The DPRK team beat its Japanese rival in the finals of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup held in Colombia and won the trophy.
Our team played a match with its Japanese rival on September 22.
About 15 minutes after the start, player Choe Il Son of our team succeeded in scoring with a strong left-foot shoot after dribbling past Japanese players from the right side of the offensive field.
In the final match, the DPRK team beat its rival 1:0.
Choe Il Son became a top scorer, scoring six goals in total.
At the awarding ceremony the trophy and gold medals were awarded to the DPRK women footballers who came first and the best player prize and top scorer prize to Choe.
