The Salt Industry Bureau of the DPRK carried out its yearly economic plan as of September 11.
This year’s salt production plan has risen further than last year’s and this year’s weather condition was not favorable for salt production.
However, officials of the bureau conducted vigorous ideological offensive at every salt works while organizing and commanding the salt production in a dynamic way.
They organized the emulation for increasing production among the salt works while actively introducing rational production methods.
The Namyang Salt Works, Kwangryangman Salt Works and Kumsong Salt Works fulfilled their yearly national economic plan ahead of schedule, following the suit of the Nampho Salt Works and Unha Salt Works.
Now, the officials, workers and technicians of the bureau continue to perform feats in production without resting on such laurels.
