When we visited the Ryuwon Footwear Factory a few days ago, we could hear everyone saying "This is our workplace," and "Ours is a work-team of feat-performers."
These words reflect their ardent love for their place of work and work-teams.
The Work-team No. 1 of the Sewing Workshop No. 1 is comprised mostly of newcomers.
Unpracticed as they are, they are ambitious to go ahead of others in production.
Ri Yong Sim, who tries to improve her skills and always overfulfills her assignments by far, says about the secret as follows:
"I feel so proud of my work. Whenever I imagine that the products we make will be supplied to students and people, I feel delighted and work with greater enthusiasm."
At first, Ri didn’t work well with a will.
Finding the work complicated, she was swayed by misgivings and hesitation.
At that moment, Kim Yong Ok, a veteran skilled worker, told her to regard her place of work as a revolutionary post assigned by the Party.
She felt impressed by her associates who keep their place of work faithfully and unselfishly for a long time.
Since then, she has worked hard and grown into a performer of feats boasted by the factory.
Such attachment to the job and love for the place of work are kept in the hearts of all other innovators of the factory.
The employees’ love for workplace also gives birth to many touching stories about their laudable deeds of helping and leading one another forward.
Ri Pyong Su, a meritorious person of socialist patriotism who has faithfully worked at the same workplace and occupation for over 30 years, said like this:
"One cannot think of innovation without love for and attachment to one’s job and workplace."
His words were meaningful indeed.
