The Kaechon Coal Mine has provided firm guarantee for increasing coal production keeping tunneling ahead of others.

As of now 10 tunneling units fulfilled their yearly plan.

The coal mine organized the socialist emulation and positively generalized the technical innovation successes which are being achieved in various units.

The Kil Yong Jo Youth Shock Brigade and the tunneling platoon No. 1 of the Kangsong Pit, aware that tunneling is just coal production, carried out their yearly plan ahead of schedule by vigorously waging the struggle for securing new coal field with strenuous efforts and collective spirit helping and leading each other forward.

Other platoons, too, made signal successes in providing reserve coal pits by introducing rational working methods such as sequence drilling and sequence blasting for raising the blasting efficiency.
