Officials and workers of the Nyongbyon Silk Mills are putting efforts into developing new products.

The factory ensures that all producers acquire the special knowledge suited to their jobs through the operation of sci-tech dissemination room so as to provide them with conditions and occasions to take part in the technical innovation movement as befitting masters.

The technical team of the factory has conducted a brisk research and technical campaign to develop and produce beautiful and elegant silk goods while reducing costs by pooling creative wisdom and enthusiasm.

Thus, the factory produced 20-odd kinds of new products including the Yaksan and Kuryong silks and real silk-made neckerchiefs.

The factory is now putting spurs to the technical innovation for increasing a variety of silk products and improving their quality, not content with the successes already made.
