Potnamu Street in Samjiyon City was decorated with snow and ice sculptures on the occasion of the New Year, which add to the festive mood in the ideal city of people.

There are many snow and ice sculptures: some depicting the strong will and faith of our people to brilliantly inherit and accomplish the cause of Juche revolution pioneered on Mt Paektu; some depicting the modern regional industry factories; some depicting various vegetables, local special products including blueberry and potatoes harvested on the fields in the Paektu area; some depicting the future of the to-be-built ski resort in the Mt Pukphothae area.

Looking at those sculptures, people keep deep in their minds the noble intention of our Party and harden their confidence in better tomorrow.
