The Taehung Youth Hero Mine conducted three rounds of blasting one after another and thus opened up a road for increased ore production.

They carried out two rounds of blasting at the underground pit of the Muhak Branch and then blew up 50 000 cubic meters of earth at the open stope of the Pukdu Branch to secure ore reserves of 2.5 million tons at one go-off.

The successive rounds of blasting gave confidence to the workers of the mine in hitting this year’s target of increased production ahead of schedule.
