Tele-reeducation for Strengthening Technical Forces of Region Promoted

Tele-reeducation gains momentum at the Grand People’s Study House to strengthen the technical forces of regional-industry factories, true to the decisions of the 11th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Officials, lecturers and editors of the study house since last year have put big efforts into developing the tele-reeducation subjects conducive to ensuring normal operation of production equipment, improving the quality of products and increasing the production capacity of raw material bases.

In the course of deepening the discussion for bringing the content of lecture closer to reality in close contact with teachers of various central universities, the work for setting up various subjects including confectionery production technology, basic food production technology and garment processing technology has been promoted remarkably.

Meanwhile, cities and counties are rehashing various tele-reeducation subjects to acquire more knowledge and techniques needed for making full use of their unique economic resources and potentials and develop and utilize them to their best effect.

At the same time, the work for enrolling scientists, technicians and field officials of numberless regional-industry factories in the tele-reeducation system in close cooperation with officials concerned is being pushed ahead with in a planned manner.

Those of the study house are also speeding up the work for making various teaching plans and multimedia programs including cultivation of sugar crops, sugar production technology, aquaculture, seafood processing technology and tourist service, which are to be dealt with in the tele-intensive short course.

Meanwhile, they are devoting all their wisdom and enthusiasm to developing and introducing the comprehensive information service system for establishing and disseminating advanced scientific and technological data bases in various fields including agriculture, stockbreeding and fishery in conformity with the regional features of cities and counties.
