There are many worldly famous coastal sites in our country which is bounded on its two sides by the East Sea and West Sea. Among them is Myongsasimni on the Kalma peninsula which gives an acme of perfection of coastal scenic spot.

The length of the Kalma peninsula is six kilometers and its average width is one kilometer.

A lot of trees including pine and oak trees grow on the peninsula. In particular, there grow goldenrain trees which can hardly be found on the east coastal area.

The coast of the Kalma peninsula is flat and people can see the sandbank along the coast. This is the famous Myongsasimni.

Thanks to the personal initiation and wise guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, a peculiar coastal resort in the era of the Workers' Party of Korea has been built in Myongsasimni on the Kalma peninsula.

The General Secretary gave field guidance several times at the construction site of the tourist resort.

The Kalma coastal resort will be more famous as a world-class beauty spot visited by our people and world people.
