Why Did He Pull Up at Farm Field

The respected General Secretary told to stop the car when it was passing through the road in front of the fields under the charge of a work-team of the Kusang Farm near the greenhouse farm.
He got out of the car and asked an official about the rice yield, with his eyes placed on the fields.
When the official answered him that the rice crops seemed promising, he told him to fetch some rice ears from the field.
After a short while, he handed out the rice ears to the accompanying officials and suggested counting the number of grains per ear together.
Presently, the respected General Secretary informed them of the number of rice grains he counted and learnt about the other rice ears.
Pointing out that the number of rice grains per ear was small, he asked an official about the reason.
At that time, the crops there suffered damage from moisture as the work-team was situated in rather a low region.
Therefore, they planted superior breeds which can suit the regional characteristics. However, they failed to take care of the crops in a sci-tech way in keeping with the unfavorable abnormal weather conditions. Hence the small number of rice grains per ear.
Being informed of such fact, a shadow passed over the face of the respected General Secretary.
The accompanying officials couldn’t help feeling guilty for causing anxiety to him, even on the auspicious day of inauguration ceremony of the marvelous greenhouse farm.
They also looked back upon the days of devotion he spent for the agricultural development of the country.
That day, the respected General Secretary stressed the need for the Cabinet and the agricultural sector to channel all efforts into doing farming well, and headed for the venue of the inauguration ceremony.
