Stories Telling His Devotion to People
Precious Treasure
In general, treasure means possessions of any kind considered especially precious or valuable.
Different people have their own treasures.
Not long ago, we visited a family residing in Sepho-ri, Ragwon County. The housewife showed us an earth bag saying that it is the earth she kept in the historic place where the groundbreaking of the Ragwon County Offshore Farm took place in the presence of the respected General Secretary
We were deeply moved to see it and recollected that windy day when the General Secretary who crossed the Sepho Pass called as "Stop Pass" where everyone stops to have a rest for a while.
Just as good, nourishing food is given first to the weakest child in a family, assistance and benefits should be rendered primarily to the locals in difficult areas. This is the mind of the respected General Secretary who dug the first spadeful earth with ardent loving care for the people in Ragwon County, visualizing the most beautiful fishing village to be built in an excellent location set by him.
After the groundbreaking, the people in Ragwon County vied with each other to keep earth in the historic place amid tears, feeling gratitude to the General Secretary.
How can we compare the earth they are keeping with gold?
The people in Ragwon County keep the earth bags as treasure as they represent great loving care shown by the great father and make the people know the true value of happiness we enjoy.

On March 15, the respected General Secretary
During his inspection, he personally mounted a steep footstool.
Looking up to him, our people felt deep gratitude to the respected General Secretary for his devotion to providing the people with splendid paradise.
Such impressive stories can be heard from any other parts of the country.
Once when he inspected the construction site of the Pyongyang Baby Home and Pyongyang Orphanage, he meticulously guided the construction, ascending a footstool.
Our people still remember the image of the respected General Secretary who climbed a steep footstool for providing the flood sufferers with new dwelling houses when he guided on the spot the restoration project in North Phyongan Province in September last year.
The footstools he personally mounted tell the devotion of the General Secretary who never cares for himself, dedicating himself to bringing about the people’s well-being.
Thanks to his devoted service to the people, wonderful paradises for the people have been built in different parts of the country.
When the new street is built up in the Hwasong area, there can never be found that footstool.
But it will be remembered in the people’s mind as the unforgettable story which tells his devotion to the people and loving care for them.
