Sci-tech Presentation and Exhibition Opened in DPRK
A sci-tech presentation and exhibition for improving the ecological environment of the capital city was opened in the DPRK with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex on March 25.
The presentation and exhibition is aimed at arousing the public interest in the work to preserve and better the ecological environment of the capital city and providing a sci-tech guarantee, true to the intention of the Workers’ Party of Korea on fundamentally innovating the urban management as required by an era of comprehensive development of socialism.
Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Kwang Su, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials concerned and officials and working people in the capital city.
Hong Hyon, vice-chairperson of the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee, made an opening address.
After the ceremony, its participants looked round the venue of the exhibition.
Presented to the exhibition are more than 170 charts on the achievements made in the scientific research into improving the ecological environment of the capital city and 350-odd exhibits.
In the period of the sci-tech presentation and exhibition, there will be a presentation on over 10 highly-appreciated sci-tech proposals and a symposium on technology in the way of questionnaire.
