DPRK player Ri Se Ung bagged a gold medal at the ２０２５ Asian Wrestling Championship.

The championship being held in Amman of Jordan brought together more than ３６０ excellent men and women wrestlers from ２０-odd countries and regions including the DPRK, Mongolia and Kazakhstan.

On March ２６, Ri Se Ung advanced into the finals, beating all his rivals in the greco-roman ６０ kg category.

He took the first place, beating his Uzbek rival ６:４ in the finals.

Meanwhile, Ro Yu Chol, Kim Chan and Son Man Gwang of the DPRK grabbed bronze medals in the greco-roman ５５kg, ６３kg and ６７kg categories respectively.
