News of 14th National People’s Sports Contest in DPRK

The games of several events in the general field (category of ministries and national agencies) for the １４th National People’s Sports Contest came to a close in the DPRK.

The State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Taehung Trading Guidance Bureau and the Radio-Television Broadcasting Committee of the DPRK took the first place at men’s basketball event in their groups and the Ministry of IT Industry, the Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps, the Ponghwa Trade Bureau and the Foreign Languages Publishing House at badminton event.

The Ministry of IT Industry, the Ministry of Public Health, the Taesong Bank and the Foreign Languages Publishing House separately took the first place at Taekwon-Do event in total.

Cups and medals were awarded to the teams and players that proved successful.
