Merited Collier Kim Kwang Hyok
Kim Kwang Hyok is a meritorious person of socialist patriotism and merited collier working as the leader of the High-speed Tunneling Platoon of the Kangdong Coal Mine under the Kangdong Area Coal-Mining Complex. People call him a genuine collier devoting himself to the coal output.
３０ years ago, he volunteered to work at the coal mine with the determination to be a famous collier. True to the request of his father, who had long worked as a collier, he became a tunneling worker, but the work was easier said than done.
However, he has steadily kept his post with the faith that the way of colliers is the only one to follow the Party.
Every year he has over-fulfilled the tunneling task for the platoon ahead of schedule in spite of bad conditions.

Merited Truck Driver An Sang Gil
Merited Truck Driver An Sang Gil at the Rason Truck Station has worked for over four decades with clear conscience in the transport sector.
He became a truck driver when he began social life and has worked hard with loyalty and patriotism to follow in the steps of his father who had worked in the transport sector all his life.
Being well aware that a man with high technology and skills can be faithful to the Party and the state, he strived to possess high driving skill in a short span of time.
He has always taken the lead in the transport work while taking part in the important projects including the construction in the area of revolutionary battle fields.
During the days he trained new comers to skilled drivers and handed over the automobile accessories he prepared to them so that his station could successfully ensure normal operation of vehicles greatly contributing to the fulfillment of the national economic plan.
He successfully implemented the important transport tasks in the ７０-day campaign and the ２００-day campaign.
In December ２０１６, he was awarded the title of merited truck driver.
Although he is in old age, he is reliably defending his post to repay the great trust and expectations of the Party and the state which led him to enjoy a worthwhile life.
Choe Yong Sun, Merited Teacher
Among the genuine educators who devote themselves to the education for rising generation is a merited teacher Choe Yong Sun, head of June ９ Ryongbuk Senior Middle School.
In recent years, the school has achieved many successes: ２０２２, the school was selected as one of ten IT model units and highly praised for its achievements at several exhibitions.
These successes are unthinkable without her efforts and devotion which rooted in her pride of being a career revolutionary.
４０-odd years have passed since she became a teacher with determination to be root of bringing up the children.
During her teaching career, she devoted her all to training students into talents of wide knowledge.
Always remembering that the quality of teaching depends on qualifications of a teacher, she developed a hundred and tens of teaching methods and educational sci-tech achievements, and trained ２０-odd teachers into October ８ Model Professors.
She also actively introduced the up-to-date teaching methods and renovated educational conditions and environment in conformity with the developing times so as to contribute to develop many excellent IT products and increase the number of students enrolled at universities and July １５ Honor Student Prize winners.
In March, ２０１０, the country awarded the title of merited teacher to her.
