Preparations for National Festival of Science and Technology Brisk in DPRK

Preparations for the ３８th National Festival of Science and Technology gain momentum.

The responsibility and role of the festival organizing committee, which includes officials, scientists and technicians of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea (GFSTK) and relevant ministries and national agencies, have been greatly enhanced. And the acceptance of the achievements and proposals, which were highly appreciated and recommended at the sci-tech festivals in every province (municipalities), and ministries and national agencies, was already completed.

At the preliminary examination, more than ９００ valuable scientific and technological achievements were selected among over １ ０００ proposals received.

The festival organizing committee is directing efforts to the preparations as it is to be held in the mode of virtual exhibition through the nationwide data communication network with the display of spot goods.

Meanwhile, it completed the production of cups and medals to be awarded at the festival and the work for producing posters of the exhibition and making charts in terms of selected scientific and technological proposals is going on at the final stage.

In the course of the preparations, the emulation enthusiasm is growing constantly among the ministries, national agencies and provinces (municipalities) with intention to carry out successfully decisions of the ８th Party Congress by dint of science.
