Oratorical Meeting of Agricultural Workers Held in DPRK

An oratorical meeting of officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers in the DPRK was held on April １１ to celebrate the １１３th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the UAWK Central Committee, officials concerned, officials of the union and agricultural workers in Pyongyang.

At the meeting, performers impressively told about the great devotion of President Kim Il Sung who ceaselessly walked along the rugged roads between farm fields for the development of the country’s agriculture all his life and about the great personality of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a brilliant heyday of the comprehensive national development.

They referred to the immortal efforts of the President who had visited farm fields till the last days of his great revolutionary life to ensure that the people live well off and clearly indicated the orientation and ways for doing farming well.

They noted with pride that modern regional-industry factories have been built in different parts of the country and people’s happy laughter and boasting of their hometowns are growing higher day by day thanks to the energetic guidance of the General Secretary who set forth the Regional Development ２０×１０ Policy to realize the long-cherished desire of the regional people and is wisely leading the struggle for its implementation.

They expressed the determination to glorify this significant year marking the ８０th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea with proud successes in increased grain production, full of the confidence in sure victory that there is nothing to fear and impossible to do as they are led by the General Secretary and with the pride of being citizens of a powerful country.
