New Rural Villages Become More Beautiful Day by Day

In the autumn last year and the spring this year, over ６６０ ０００ of good species of trees and beautiful flowers were planted in a thousand and hundreds of rural villages across the country.

A few years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un mentioned that planting of many fruit trees and good species of trees in villages and their surrounding mountains would be helpful to better farmer’s living and beautify rural villages, and he, afterwards, gave instructions on following up the project of building rural houses by greening work.

In Sept. last year, when he inspected the restoration work in flood-hit areas, North Phyongan Province, he stressed the need to put efforts into improving the surrounding environment and carrying out afforestation properly in ornamental and practical aspects, while building civilized and modern residential quarters.

The officials, Party members and working people throughout the country turned out as one in the struggle for greening true to the Party’s noble intention.

The residents in North Phyongan, Jagang and Ryangang provinces who received new splendid houses thanks to the Party’s loving care devote their efforts to further beautifying their villages by greening.
