Iron-willed Commander Who Performed Military Miracle in 20th Century

The victory in the Fatherland Liberation War is a brilliant victory of outstanding military ideas, superb strategy and extraordinary art of command and was recorded as a military miracle in the ２０th century and in the history of world war.

President Kim Il Sung is the ever-victorious iron-willed commander who shattered the myth of mightiness of the US imperialists by creating original strategies and tactics suited to our country’s geographical conditions, our army’s military hardware and the features of modern warfare based on the Juche-based military ideas and experiences gained in the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

After the outbreak of war, the President indicated an original military strategy to thoroughly annihilate the enemies and liberate the areas under their control by means of rapid maneuvers and continued blows before huge forces of the US aggressor army were committed. He saw to it that the units of the Korean People’s Army immediately frustrated the enemies’ invasion throughout the front areas and, at the same time, went over to a simultaneous counterstrike.

What is of great significance in the counterstrike strategy in the early days of war is the continued attack operation.

The President made sure that our army units smashed up the enemies without giving them a breathing space by swift maneuvers, continued blows and violent pursuit after frustrating the enemies’ attacking plans with an immediate counterstrike on all fronts.

Along with this, the President set forth an important operational and tactical policy not only to drive the aggressors away but also to thoroughly annihilate them through encirclement, thus disabling them from making another attack, and created a practical model of modern siege warfare through the operation for liberating Taejon.

The strategies and tactics created by the President in the Fatherland Liberation War were truly brilliant ones run through by scientific accuracy and originality never to be found in history.

The same goes for his strategy for active positional defence.

It was a new and original military strategy put forth on the basis of the scientific analysis of the prevailing conditions, balance of forces, character of the enemies’ movements and the geographical conditions of our country.

Better still, he ensured that active and adroit tactics like the formation of the second front behind the enemy lines, large-scale siege warfare by the cooperation of the main front and the second front, mountain warfare, night actions, snipers’ team movement, aircraft-hunting team movement, tank hunters’ team movement and others were actively applied, thus bringing earlier victory in the war.

The original strategies and tactics of our style created in the days of the Fatherland Liberation War were unprecedented in the history of world war. This is a precious fruition of the brilliant stratagem and extraordinary art of command of the President, the prominent military strategist and ever-victorious iron-willed commander.

Indeed, the President is the great master and illustrious commander representative of the ２０th century who displayed the Juche-based military strategies and tactics to the full.

Today, our people carry forward the great history of war victory, the history of proud victory of Juche Korea as they have the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, another peerless great man in the van of revolution.

Everything the respected General Secretary plans and brings into reality and the epochal events brought about by him demonstrate the inexhaustible might of our country and invincibility of heroic Korea to the whole world.
