Rural Housing Construction Progresses Apace in Pyongyang Municipality

Pyongyang Municipality has promoted rural housing construction planned for this year on a full scale in hearty response to our Party’s grand plan for socialist rural construction, amid the vigorous campaign to turn the whole rural areas into ideal ones.

Under the guidance of the municipal Party committee, the Pyongyang Municipal Headquarters of Rural Construction ensures that all districts and counties share and generalize the construction methods which proved scientific accuracy and practicality in the past construction process and steadily expand the successes in the project.

In order to make the loving care of the Party reach the agricultural workers as soon as possible, the builders in Rangnang District have completed the foundation project of dwelling houses in a short span of time with their own construction forces, thus making successive innovations in the construction of walls, concrete floor slab tamping and other projects.

In particular, Mangyongdae District gives priority to supplying necessary materials for completing the rural dwelling houses erected at the Chilgol Vegetable Farm and enhances the operating rate of construction equipment including concrete delivery machine while ensuring that the officials in charge of construction and supervision further raise their responsibilities and roles.

Sadong District and Kangnam County are directing efforts to raising the level of specialized construction and ensuring proper process-by-process engagement while speeding up the frame construction of single- and low-storied houses by letting the builders strictly observe the requirements of design and construction method.

The same goes for Samsok, Ryokpho and Sunan districts and Kangdong County.

Meanwhile, the municipality takes thorough measures for preventing various accidents beforehand in the construction sites and pays due attention to making the finishing building materials production units increase the production both in quality and quantity by relying on regional raw materials.
