Successes in Power Production

The officials and working class in the hydroelectric power sector produce millions of kWh of more power than the planned every day in August true to the decisions of the １２th Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The officials of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry give priority to the output of hydroelectric power in rainy season and positively combine thermal power production.

In particular, the workers and technicians of the Generating Shop No.１ of the Suphung Power Station normalize the power production on a high level by rationally conducting circuit checking of equipment.

Those of the Hochongang and Jangjingang power stations manage well the water of reservoirs in a sci-tech way to increase the power production.

The Kanggye Youth Power Station, Taedonggang, Pujongang, Sodusu and Thaechon, Wiwon, Namgang and Huichon power stations also take the lead in the campaign for increased production.
