Kanggye Building-materials Factory Renovated Splendidly

The Kanggye Building-materials Factory has been renovated into an integrated base for producing finishing materials of big capacity that can contribute to the implementation of our Party’s regional development policy.

The factory whose interior, exterior and surrounding environment was renewed and production processes were put on a modern base at a high level can mass-produce finishing materials such as colored roofing tiles and different kinds of coating materials.

Upholding the Party’s intention, the senior officials in Jagang Province, with the aim of ensuring finishing materials needed for the regional construction by themselves, frequented the site for renovation to solve knotty problems, thus promoting the project as scheduled.

Although there were many difficulties, the officials and the employees of the factory manufactured equipment for producing finishing materials on their own by pooling their wisdom and efforts and learning after good experiences of leading units.

In particular, they directed major efforts into establishing production processes so as to ensure the quality of products while lowering the standard of material consumption per unit.

Not long ago, the finishing materials that the factory produced with raw materials abundantly available in its region were highly appreciated at a national exhibition.

Now, the factory strives to increase the proportion of locally available raw materials to the maximum giving top priority to ensuring the quality of finishing materials.
