Lyric Poem Reflecting Our People’s View on Motherland
Lyric poem "My Motherland" among a lot of famous poems about the motherland is loved by all our people irrespective of age or sex.
The poem was written by Kim Sang O in １９７９.
Kim Sang O said:
"I lived in two different periods and my life, my motherland and reality made me write this poem. I spent half a lifetime under the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists and now I live in the liberated country. So, I experienced the sorrow of stateless person and feel the benevolence of the motherland."

Keeping in mind the lyric poem, young people went to the posts of defending the country and the important sites desired by the Party. Miracles and innovations were achieved in different parts of the country.
Nearly half a century has passed since the lyric was born. However, our people love it more and more.
