Preparation for Operating Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm Promoted

North Phyongan Province has secured tens of tons of seeds and tens of thousands of tons of homemade manure to start the production as soon as the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm is erected.

Under the guidance of the provincial Party committee, the province made meticulous arrangements for it, keeping in their mind that bumper harvest of hothouse greens depends on how they solve the seed problem.

It gave the task of producing seeds to relevant farms of the province and greenhouses in its cities and counties and organized demonstrations and passing-on-techniques several times, thus widening discerning eyes of officials and technicians.

It also dispatched the officials of the provincial rural economy committee to the spot so as to solve problems arising in the production of high-yield green seeds, and successfully secured tens of tons of green seeds by providing scientific and technical guidance in a responsible manner.

Achievements have been brought about in producing homemade manure needed in raising vegetable sprouts and normalizing the production of the greenhouses.

The officials and working people of the province produced and secured a lot of fermented manure and huminite by tapping manure sources to the maximum.

Thousands of tons of humus badly needed in raising vegetable sprouts have been secured, too.
