Big Successes Made in Samchon County

Amid the dynamic struggle to greet the ８０th founding anniversary of our Party with proud labour achievements, Samchon County has achieved great success in its farm work.

The county finished corn harvesting and threshing in a fortnight’s time and thus over-fulfilled its production plan.

The officials, agricultural workers and volunteers of the county reaped a bumper harvest by waging vigorous struggle for attaining the grain production goal from the beginning of this year.

Agricultural workers, bearing deep in mind the benevolence of the Party which opened up a new era of rural rejuvenation, have devoted their sincere efforts to filling the granaries of the country not allowing any waste in crop harvest. Tractor drivers over-fulfilled their everyday-plan by １２０% while fully displaying a high sense of responsibility and devotion.

The Poryong, Tokchon and Thapphyong farms finished harvesting and threshing in a week. Similar successes have been made in the Sukyo and other farms.

The county finished corn harvesting and threshing more than ２０ days earlier than the previous period.

Thanks to the devoted efforts of all the county people, corn harvesting and threshing were completed more than ２０ days earlier than the previous period.

The county is now working hard without cease to finish seeding wheat and barley and rice harvesting in a short span of time.
