Production of Koryo Medicine Increased

The Koryo medicine production units in South Hamgyong Province achieve successes by concentrating their efforts on diversifying Koryo medicine in terms of kind and shape upholding the Party’s policy of increasing the production of efficient Koryo medicine with medicinal herbs and materials which are abundant in our country.

The province increased the production of Koryo medicine １.２ times as against the same period of last year while sharing and disseminating successes and experiences through exhibitions and workshops.

The officials and employees of the Hamhung Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory are producing lots of Koryo medicine such as Saposolum and Scopolia Parviflora Stomachic Tablets by actively introducing leading units’ technology while concentrating on the quality improvement of products.

Those of Pukchong and Kowon counties are mass-producing medicines including AngungUhwang-Hwan, Aronia Melanocarpa extract and Samul Pills. Their examples are being generalized throughout the province.

The Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in Tanchon City and Hamju and Hongwon counties, fully aware that reserves for increasing production lied in sci-tech, enhanced the skill level of employees by conducting the work for disseminating advanced technology.

With the single mind to contribute to the production of Koryo medicine, the working people of several units producing medicinal herbs are pushing ahead with the work for increasing the fertility of soil and cultivating herbs in mountains in a far-sighted way.
