Solar Power Stations Erected

Officials and working people in South Hamgyong Province built the system-parallel solar power station on the embankment of River Songchon in the wake of the construction of the Soho Solar Power Station and the Tonghung Solar Power Station, on the occasion of the ８０th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Under the guidance of the provincial Party committee, officials of the province set a bold plan for building system-parallel solar power station in several areas so that the residents can get benefits of natural energy.

The province pushed forward with the project in cooperation with the Jinung Solar Battery Manufactory of Kim Il Sung University and made technical preparation building up close connection with the Pyongyang Power Designing Institute of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry.

The system-parallel solar power station was successfully built thanks to the great efforts of the officials and builders of the province made in close cooperation with Kim Il Sung University and other science research institutions.

Now the officials of South Hamgyong Province give fresh spurs to the work for developing natural energy.
