Peat Processing Base Newly Built

Ryanggang Province newly built a peat processing base with large production capacity.

The base with an area of tens of thousands of square meters has its stope, crushing place, outdoor peat drying ground and others. There is also an excellent building for officials and employees.

In order to implement the tasks put forward in the Eighth Congress of the Party and plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee, the provincial Party committee set the exploitation of peat in Paekam County as an important issue to be carried out within this year and reflected it in the Party committee’s decision and pushed ahead with it.

The provincial people’s committee shouldered the exploitation of peat and organized the forces for the project with officials of the province and builders of relevant units.

Mobilized there were researchers, designers and skilled workers of the provincial committee of science and technology, the provincial designing institute and the provincial mining complex.

The officials and builders who took part in the construction solved arising technical problems on their own to save a lot of funds, materials and manpower.

Now the province strives to raise the shaped peat production capacity and take positive measures for rapidly transporting the products to the relevant regions.
