Meeting Takes Place to Present Letters of Loyalty to Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Held

The whole country is full of the absolute trust in and boundless gratitude to the great Workers’ Party of Korea, organizer and guide of the DPRK people for all victories, along with October of glory which is shining with the sacred history of the people-first principle and which has provided a guarantee for the eternal existence and development of our state and happiness of all generations.

A meeting was held in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on October ７ to present letters of loyalty to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the ８０th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The relay teams carrying the letters of loyalty reflecting the general will of all the Korean people to follow the Party forever arrived in Pyongyang, the capital of the revolution, and entered the Kim Il Sung Stadium, the venue of the meeting for presenting the letters, warmly welcomed by the citizens.

The vigorous march of the members of the relay teams who have come from different parts of the country with the highest respect, best wishes and ardent pledge of all the people on the occasion of the glorious ８０th founding anniversary of the ever-victorious WPK added vitality to the grand revolutionary drive for bringing earlier the overall national prosperity true to the idea and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Present at the meeting were Pak Thae Song, Choe Ryong Hae and Jo Yong Won, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other leading officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs, chief secretaries of the provincial Party committees, members of the relay teams carrying the letters of loyalty, participants in the celebrations of the ８０th founding anniversary of the WPK, officials of commissions, ministries and national agencies, officials, working people and youth and students in Pyongyang.

Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, made a speech at the meeting.

Upon the authorization of the WPK Central Committee, he expressed deep thanks to the Party members and working people in different fields and parts of the country who came to Pyongyang with the letters of loyalty sent by all the people and service personnel of the armed forces of the Republic to Kim Jong Un, the great leader of the WPK and the Korean revolution, on the occasion of the ８０th founding anniversary of the WPK.

He extended warm greetings to all the Party members and other people across the country and the service personnel of the armed forces of the Republic who have devoted themselves to the holiday of October, reliably defending the revolutionary posts with the firm trust in the Party and pure sincerity, the members of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China who sent to the venue of the significant festival the earnest yearning for their socialist motherland and ardent desire to follow it and other overseas compatriots.

Referring to the powerful eruption of loyalty of all the people who absolutely believe and follow Kim Jong Un, he noted that the respected General Secretary is making great efforts to design and carry out every gigantic project for the prosperity of the state and the promotion of the people’s wellbeing in a perfect way, saying that he has nothing to desire if the people firmly believe and follow him.

He said that the continuity of the great trust and pure sincerity between the leader and the people is the political climate peculiar to the DPRK and the invariable trend of life, adding that thanks to the unity of thoughts and feelings and will, any revolutionary work is surely brought to successful fruition though it is huge and difficult and the prestige of the state is being further enhanced.

He stressed that all the eye-opening miracles and changes made on the land of the country are the precious fruition of the idea and energetic leadership of the respected General Secretary with the spirit of absolute service to the people and the outcome of the ardent loyalty and devoted efforts of the people and service personnel who regard the intention of the respected General Secretary as their ideal and demand of life and carry it out with their hearts of devotion.

Saying that the worth and pride of achieving the prosperity of the country, holding in high esteem the great leader of the people and the dear farther and following his noble patriotism, are the greatest honor that can never be bartered for anything, he ardently called upon all the people to train themselves to be true masters of the revolution and honorable vanguard fighters in the building of the country who sincerely carry forward the baton of loyalty and patriotism and to courageously advance toward a new victory.

The letters of loyalty to Kim Jong Un from every province, the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the Korean People’s Army, the Ministry of Public Security, the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China were courteously conveyed to members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee.

The participants broke into stormy cheers, reflecting the unshakable faith of the entire Party members, working people and service personnel of the People’s Army to greet all glories in the world on the road of following Kim Jong Un.

The meeting for presenting the letters of loyalty to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the ８０th founding anniversary of the WPK fully demonstrated the firm will of all the people to more courageously strive to accomplish the sacred cause of ushering in a new era of prosperity of the country true to the leadership of the great Party Central Committee.
