Manufacture of Major Equipment Completed
The State Academy of Sciences concluded the task of manufacturing major equipment to be installed at the Unsan Paper Mill to be built splendidly as an entity of regional rejuvenation.
The Paper Engineering Institute in charge of the master plan fixed production capacity in due consideration of the population, geographical feature and raw material resources, determined output of paper products and newly developed paper-producing technology in keeping with a provincial paper mill of a large scale.
On this basis, it completed the design and manufacturing of core equipment of ９ varieties needed for the main production processes including a multipurpose paper-machine and various sorters in a responsible way.
The Heat Engineering Institute successfully manufactured a fluidized bed boiler needed for steam production processes and the Electricity Institute produced various kinds of switch boxes needed in establishing an overall electric power system.
Similar successes were made in other institutes.
Therefore the State Academy of Sciences successfully concluded the manufacture of tens of kinds of １００-odd pieces of equipment by September ２１ and the work of transporting them to the spot by the end of September.
Now tens of scientists from several institutes including the Paper Engineering Institute and the Designing Institute offer technical guidance on the assembly and installation of equipment and linking of processes at the Unsan Paper Mill.
At Construction Site of Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm
Officials and scientists of the State Academy of Sciences are rendering distinguished services in the construction site of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm.
１０-odd institutes and units including the Modernizing Institute, the Electronic Institute, the Control Machine Institute and the Building Materials Institute creditably designed and manufactured thousands of pieces of technical equipment of over ８０ kinds including control panels and platform scales needed in establishing production technological processes by September ２４.
A number of technical equipment was sent to the spot as soon as they were produced. A hundred and tens of officials and scientists from ２０-odd institutes and units in charge of establishing an intelligent integrated production system conduct an intensive work for assembling and installing equipment on the spot.
Thanks to their devoted efforts, the State Academy of Sciences has carried out its assigned task for installing technical equipment at ４０ percent and keeps putting spurs to it.
Remarkable Progress made in Localization
The State Academy of Sciences makes a remarkable progress in localization of equipment needed for regional-industry factories.
It continues putting spurs to the work of localization of equipment this year, too, while consolidating last year’s success of having introduced soap-producing equipment to regional-industry factories of different counties.
In this course, １０-odd institutes and units finished manufacture of １００-odd pieces of equipment of nearly ４０ kinds undertaken by the State Academy of Sciences.
Meanwhile, the Control Machine Institute, the Power-driven Machine Institute and the Mechanical Engineering Institute conducted manufacture-technical guidance on tens of pieces of equipment to be sent to cities and counties in the wake of developing bread-production equipment in a short span of time and test-running them successfully.
