Regional-industry Factories Prove Effective

In December last year, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who attended the inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories in Songchon County, in his speech, said what our Party’s plan for the new era is to make the capital envious of the regions, to make regional rejuvenation represent the progress and development of our state and to make the true image of our style of socialism mirrored on the ideal appearance of the regions.

The officials and employees of the regional industry factories in ２０ cities and counties, faithful to the noble will of the peerlessly great man, aroused themselves in the fierce campaign for proving vitality and validity of the Party’s policy on regional development.

As a result of their exertions, the outputs of foodstuff, daily necessities and garments have been greatly increased than the last year’s which the pre-modernized factories outputed.

For instance, the Kim Hyong Jik County Foodstuff Factory increased the output of soybean paste by ２.５ times; the Unpha County Foodstuff Factory, confectioneries by ５ times; the Ichon County Foodstuff Factory, cooking oil by ４ times.

The daily necessities factory, also, recorded the high rate of production growth.

To take an example, the Kosan County Daily Necessities Factory increased the output of soap by ６ times; the Unpha County Daily Necessities Factory, resin goods by ２.５ times; the Usi County Daily Necessities Factory, wooden ware by amazingly １０ times.

The same goes for the garment factories.

The newly-built garment factories including the Hamju County Garment Factory stimulated the work for developing new products according to the residents’ age, sex as well as seasons, and expanded their production by ３ times on the average.

These proud successes make our people certain that the Party’s policy is a science, proven truth and victory.
