High Results in Production of Prop Timber

Jagang Province endeavors to increase the production of prop timber.

The province has increased the production of prop timber １.２ times than that in the same period of last year.

Officials of the provincial forestry management bureau conducted the organization and command of prop timber production in lumber yards and felling places.

Officials and workers of the Songgan Forestry Station over-fulfil everyday plan for prop timber production by actively introducing rational working methods to timber-felling, sprigging and lumber transportation.

The Samnak Mine Pillar Production Station fixed rational route for transporting lumber in conformity with conditions of felling places and raises its utilization while increasing the operation rate of production equipment including sawing machines by actively tapping internal reserves.

Tractor drivers are adopting rational methods of driving to ensure the safety of running in keeping with the characteristics of roads in mountainous areas, thus increasing loadings of lumber.
