The WPK keeps the people-first principle as the basic mode of socialist politics.
As it regards it as its fundamental mission to absolutely defend the people’s dignity and prestige, solve all the problems based on the inexhaustible force of the popular masses and serve the people, our Party reflects the people’s dreams, ideals and demands solely in every single one of its lines and policies and orients them toward the promotion of the people’s wellbeing.
To have the absolutely people-oriented character as its vitality constitutes the validity and viability of our Party’s policies.

The respected General Secretary, who carries forward the intention of the President and the Chairman who held up the people as the Heaven, made sure that advantageous policies desired and welcomed by the people were put forth and gives birth to the gigantic entities one after another with ardent devotion, cherishing firm faith to realize all the long-fostered desires of the people in our generation without fail.
Recently, our Party has advanced lots of lines and policies for the people to more clearly demonstrate its people-oriented character as a party devotedly serving the people.
The appearances of the people getting brighter day by day thanks to the new life and civilization brought about by our Party policies eloquently verify that our Party policies are the most correct guideline and weapon of practice which effect actual improvement and substantial changes in the people’s life.
It is the invariable fighting goal and lofty ideal of our Party to let all of our people whether they live near the capital city or far away from it agree that our life is wonderful, our system is advantageous and our Party policies are excellent.
