Mass-based Art Model Units Increase in Number

Tens of units in the capital city of Pyongyang and the countryside have been selected as models of mass-based art this year.

The Party organizations in different parts saw that amateur art activities were actively conducted and the Ministry of Culture intensified guidance over these activities.

The model units of mass-based art depicted the leadership exploits of the Party and worthwhile working life in an excellent and realistic way at national art festivals.

Units associated with the Party’s leadership exploits like the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex, the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site Souvenir Factory and the management station of the Munsu Water Park were selected as models.

Art group members of the model units aroused the masses’ zeal for revolution and struggle by conducting frontline-style agitprop activities for increased production at theaters of socialist construction.

The proud reality of the country serves as a foundation giving birth to mass-based model units.
