Dairy Goods Production Foundation Solidified

Pyongyang Municipality has achieved remarkable successes by pushing powerfully ahead with the implementation of the Party’s childcare policy.

Thanks to the devoted efforts of its officials and working people, over one hundred goat pens were newly built this year and the number of milch cows and goats and the milk output increased by １.５ times.

The municipal Party Committee set an ambitious goal for consolidating its own dairy goods production foundation and unfolded dynamic organizational work to let districts and counties strive to this end in a persevering manner.

A project was powerfully launched as an affair of the municipality for intensifying the dairy production foundation of the Kangdong County Combined Stockbreeding Base and providing the keepers with favorable production and living conditions.

Also, a settling pond project at the milch cow branch of the Songgum Stockbreeding Farm under the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee was successfully concluded to prevent air pollution, and a nursery with plenty of fixtures needed for nurturing and educating children was nicely built.

Mangyongdae District built new goat pens or expanded the capacity of the existing ones, and at the same time, increased the number of dairy goats and milch cows of superior breed to raise milk output.

Similar successes were made in Hyongjesan, Rangnang, Ryongsong, Sadong and Sunan districts and others.

The officials and working people in the municipality devote all their wisdom and passion to further cementing the production foundations for dairy goods.
