Fish Breeding Bases for Paddy-field Fish Farming Built

North Phyongan Province has built fish breeding bases in an effort to thoroughly implement the Party policy on encouraging paddy-field fish farming.

The provincial Party Committee made watertight arrangements for conducting paddy-field fish farming on a large scale from next year.

Particularly, it directed big efforts to building fish breeding bases for the production of fish fries.

The provincial rural economy committee set the site for the base in a relevant region of the province seat and secured heavy machines and building materials in a short period.

Officials and workers applied to the construction did their best to complete the structures on a high qualitative level in order to ensure scientific and technological rearing and management of fishes.

As a result, a fish breeding base with full conditions like a fodder grinding room, a fodder production room and an incubating ground was built in a short span of time.

Meanwhile, Unsan and Ryongchon counties and other cities and counties built flawless fish breeding bases.

Other regions like Tongrim County are speeding up the construction project at the final stage, with high zeal for launching paddy-field fish farming in a bold manner from next year.
