North Hwanghae Province Face-lifts Cities and County Seats

North Hwanghae Province achieves substantial successes by pushing ahead with the work for sprucing up the appearance of the region in a persevering manner.

This year alone, tens of thousands of dwelling houses of cities and county seats in the province were remodeled, roads extending tens of kilometers were splendidly paved and lots of buildings conducive to the cultural and emotional life of the people were built up.

The provincial Party committee worked out accurate annual plans to refurbish the cities and county seats, and set Sariwon City as the model one.

Senior officials of the province saw that the design was completed on a high level in a short time after deliberating on the plan of the project on the spot.

Thanks to the devoted efforts of the officials and working people in the province, tiling exterior walls of thousands of dwellings and the work for creating green landscape were concluded in a short time.

A park and a funfair were newly built in the center of the city.

Unpha and Hwangju counties briskly conducted the work for modernizing thousands of dwellings in a unique and modern way.

Pongsan County completed new and peculiar miniatures by relying on its own design forces and powerfully pushed forward with the remodeling project of dwelling houses, thus sprucing up the appearance of the county seat.

Similar successes were made in Singye and Sohung counties.
