People-bound Train

On display at the Kumsusam Palace of the Sun is a train Chairman Kim Jong Il used till the last period of his life.

Our people call it people-bound train.

People-bound train!

This is a noble call reflecting the whole life of the Chairman who made ceaseless journey of great devotion regarding it as his greatest pride to serve the people.

Along with the people-bound train, also called "running office room", "running lodging quarter" by the people, lots of legendary tales showing the world of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s love for people were born on this land.

Among them is the one of his visiting Komdok miners by train and also the one which tells about one night when he got on the train to give field guidance at a newly-remodeled children’s camp.

Along that road of devotion on which the Chairman never stopped treading even in the blizzards of winter and pouring rain, our country has ever prospered and our people enjoyed happier life.

Along with the people-bound train, gigantic social changes were brought about and a new leap forward of socialist construction secured.

The people-bound train is a witness of the history telling stories about the devotion made by the Chairman who made a ceaseless high-intensity forced march by giving the fullest play to his zeal for revolution and struggle until the last time of his life.

That’s why the people-bound train occurs first to our people whenever they think about the whole life of the Chairman who continued his journey for the country and people despite distant and perilous ways.

Now the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un continues his field guidance by that people-bound train, which the Chairman used throughout his life, to every nook and corner of the country.

The whistle of the people-bound train will resound forever along with the immortal exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il and the glorious history of the respected General Secretary who fulfills the noble desire of the Chairman.
