New Houses, Public and Production Buildings Built in DPRK
Modern houses have been built at the Chilgol Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang Municipality and public and production buildings at the Toksan Farm under the South Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee, giving face-lifting to farm villages.
Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang Municipality successfully completed the project for building 150 low-storeyed flats, prioritizing the quality of structures.
A hall of culture, office building, pharmacy and kindergarten were newly built at the Toksan Farm under the South Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee to ensure the work of agricultural workers and offer the convenience in their life.
Attending the ceremony of moving into new houses and the inauguration ceremony of public and production buildings were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs in Pyongyang Municipality, Mangyongdae District, South Hamgyong Province and Jongphyong County, builders and agricultural workers.
Speeches were made there.
As congratulatory performances and cheerful dancing parties were given, farm villages were in a festive mood.
